When children are overwhelmed, it can show up as big emotions, defiance, withdrawal, or shutdowns. Children can't always explain the stress they carry, whether from grief, trauma, family changes, or feeling different or misunderstood by the world around them. These struggles often surface in behaviors that are confusing and frustrating for the adults who care about them most. Play therapy offers a safe, natural way to explore and express what words cannot yet capture. I help children process their experiences and support caregivers in rebuilding connection, confidence, and trust in the relationship.
