Mental health affects us all but in different ways. We can experience the same symptoms/issues/stressors, but perceive and experience it very differently. This is what I enjoy about being a Mental Health Practitioner; the curiosity and insight of understanding one’s story through their own lens. My clinical approach is empathic, nurturing, and motivating. To help individuals achieve their goals, I often use Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, or Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
