I view counseling as a process that provides you with a sense of autonomy and control amidst life’s unpredictability. My goal is to deeply understand your point of view and come alongside you to work through various stuck points and areas of difficulty. I aim to provide a safe space where we can explore your emotions, find ways of coping, and help you to feel more equipped to navigate life's ups and downs. I am passionate about helping individuals to work through phase of life transitions: starting school or a new career, adapting to changes in relationship or family, or healing from tragedy. I work with teens (13+) and adults, and have additional training in Career Counseling and counseling first responders (specializing in fire fighters and EMS). I use an eclectic and evidence-based approach to therapy, drawing from modalities like Person-Centered Therapy, CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy to meet your unique needs.
