People often reach out for counseling with significant changes or some kind of loss that has shifted life around. Many carry worry, grief, illness, life transition or are caregivers. I often hear people say "I need somewhere to share my fears and worries" to "really listen" or "walk through this change" with me. Many people are hoping to sort out their feelings, thoughts and explore steps in making changes. Some find they develop a new sense of self, perspective, improved connections within relationships, a cultivation of mindfulness, new hopes, and of course -a richer meaning to their life.
