About
I am thrilled to join Balance Mental Health as an intern, where I can contribute to their mission of providing compassionate, inclusive, and empathetic care. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of New Hampshire (2000) and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work with a focus on trauma-informed care at Widener University. I will graduate in May 2026 with an MSW and a trauma certificate, and I plan to continue with additional specialized trauma training and certification. As a neurodivergent individual, a mother to an autistic son, and a survivor of childhood trauma, I bring a unique perspective to my work. My personal experiences, including the challenges I’ve overcome, allow me to connect deeply with those I serve.
