I have 21 years of experience as a therapist and social worker. I use a strengths-based, client-centered approach and I believe psychotherapy is an effective tool in helping people overcome fears, anxiety, depression, and maladaptive patterns and behaviors. I strive to help clients tap into strengths they didn't know they had, form more positive relationships, and heal old emotional wounds. In our first session together, I conduct some intake questions to gather family history, health concerns, and mental health treatment history. Then we address what brings you to therapy and what outcomes you hope to achieve in working together. I formulate a treatment plan and we set a treatment schedule to begin the work.
