I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I was born and raised in Western New York and graduated with a Masters in Social Work in 2002 from the University at Buffalo. I have worked in a variety of settings and with a variety of people, and am so grateful to have learned a great deal from each one of them. Life is hard. I offer a safe space for my clients to work through and process the difficulties they are facing while encouraging them to take good care of themselves, to seek out and nurture positive connections with others, and to search for and hold onto the things that make life worth living. In each session, the most important thing I can do is to be present and listen. I am genuinely curious and interested in you. In the first session especially, I believe people come in carrying a heavy load, and I will listen and be patient while you set it down and begin to sort it out. From there, we will make a plan together on how to proceed.
