Many teens and adults struggle with relationships, anxiety, and depression. Negative thoughts and beliefs about self and the behaviors that follow can disrupt daily functioning and have a serious impact on self-esteem and problems at home, school, and work. Stress, life events, and emotional and mental health challenges can feel completely overwhelming. Life's challenges are hard to take on by yourself and I enjoy helping others move through their journey, discover their strengths, and reach their goals. I love partnering with my Therapy Dog, Rio, and my horses for experiential learning and psychotherapy. My specialties include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Solution Focused, and Animal/Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. I have extensive training and experience in treating trauma and attachment, self-regulation, and child/adolescent school and family-related issues.
