Sometimes life gives us the unexpected. When it does, we are often scrambling to survive. Lots of us either ignore our pain or blame ourselves for what happened. I am here to tell you that it’s not your fault. When life throws us into the arena, we get dragged in the dirt, scuff up our knees, and exhaust every ounce of ourselves to survive. None of us do it perfectly. I want to remind you that you have survived and are making the brave choice to seek therapy.
