I believe that therapy is a collaborative effort between myself and my clients. Successful therapy requires the establishment of a trusting, nurturing and respectful environment coupled with a high level of therapeutic skills. Various techniques and strategies may be employed to increase insight, break unhealthy patterns and improve emotional health. I am a goal-directed therapist who takes great satisfaction out of assisting young people and adults in resolving issues to achieve clarity, self-confidence, and courage to face everyday issues and challenges. I’ve worked in the field of mental health for over 15 years and have found a passion for work with Adolescents (12+), Young Adults, War Veterans, and Substance Abuse Clients.
