I have been working with individuals, families, and couples for over twenty five years. I use Bowen Family Systems Theory to understand how individuals and families manage and navigate challenges that lead to distress and symptoms. As we collectively confront climate change, political upheaval, and the developmental transitions of life; gaining a broader perspective is even more important. Relationships are our most significant resource, and learning to navigate them with more flexibility goes a long way to softening the challenges we face in our lives. I am on the faculty of the Center for Family Consultation in Evanston and certified by EMDRIA to administer EMDR. EMDR is a somatic modality used to treat symptoms that may not be responding to traditional "talk" therapy.
