All of us experience painful emotions at some point in our lives. In an attempt to make the bad feelings go away, we often pretend that we're not hurting. But avoiding what's going on inside can actually make things worse. In my work with people, it is my goal to hold safe, intentional space for them to process the things that are going on inside. I want everyone who steps in my office to have permission to feel whatever they need to feel and to tell their story. I seek to engage both the present and the past with my clients, knowing that our formative stories have immense power to shape how we show up in the world today.
