I trust in your ability to heal yourself - Peter Levine: Trauma is pervasive and misunderstood in our fast paced world and many of us do not understand how our nervous system, brain, and soul are impacted by day to day stressful events. At the Rockbridge Wellness Group we focus on the use of somatic techniques to heal single source, complex, and developmental trauma. Therapy centers on identifying the maladaptive patterns that were established during stressful childhood experiences and moving the nervous system through a series of step to purge, heal, and establish new ways of living. When therapeutic work first begins the focus is on building a therapeutic bond before diving into the core issues. My speciality is working with complex trauma with a focus on nervous system regulation.
