As a therapist, I strive to "hold space" with clients. Holding space for another person is incredibly profound bringing your entire presence to them. You walk along with them without judgment, willing to end up wherever they need to go by giving the energy of our attention to the pain and struggle of another human being. As a ally to a variety of communities, I make it a priority to learn about the complexities and intersections of a persons identity; to honor each person's journey and recognize the privileges I have in sharing such a vulnerable space.
