Life is hard! Maybe you have noticed that you’ve been feeling sad, anxious, overwhelmed, unmotivated, or just plain stuck. My name is Jennifer Shook and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I have 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with ADHD, Anxiety, Burn Out, Depression, Grief and Loss, Life Changes, and Trauma. I use my sense of humor and down-to-earth personality to build a caring and supportive atmosphere. My goal is to empower my clients on their journey to healing. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can talk to me and feel comfortable before even scheduling an appt. Trust is the foundation of the therapeutic relationship. I will work with you to meet you where you are at and develop goals that are meaningful to you. I am passionate about the mind-body connection. I use my training in Eye Movement Desensitzation and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help my clients reduce feelings of distress.
