Starting therapy can be scary! It takes a lot of courage to face the unknown and walk into a situation with the purpose of creating change. Offering a safe environment for you to tell your stories and feel your feelings is, for me, the most important aspect of the therapeutic relationship. As a therapist, you will find me to be warm, caring, and nonjudgmental. I will share with you my observations, help you gain insight into your problems, and give you new tools to cope. Sometimes, we'll laugh -- a sense of humor is very important in the healing process! I have extensive experience working with a diverse client population and a wide range of emotional and family issues. I enjoy supporting individuals in their journey of self-exploration, especially teachers and people in the helping professions. It can be difficult to find a comfortable balance of providing care for others while receiving enough yourself.
