I am a licensed social worker with seven years of clinical and supervisory experience. I received a Masters in Social Work from Simmons University in Boston Massachusetts. Initially my work was focused in Forensic Social Work providing support to survivors of sexual abuse, DV survivors, incest and unaccompanied immigrant minors. I also use my clinical skills in the treatment racial trauma, oriented in the advocacy for racial & economic equity. I assist clients with identifying healthy behaviors to create a sense of meaning & purpose in life with the use of Evidence-Based treatments that promote better functioning & increase satisfaction by acknowledging trauma & celebrating diversity. I support clients with identifying ways to enjoy their lives by treating what inhibits their joy
