Ms Rella, LMHC, is a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She received a Master of Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University Graduate School of Education. She is a New York City Department of Health Certified Sexual Assault Crisis Counselor, has Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) and completed the One-Year Intensive Psychotherapy Program at the Institute for the Psychoanalytic Study of Subjectivity. Ms Rella utilizes an eclectic therapeutic approach that blends psychodynamic and relational strategies. She works with a wide range of presenting problems, including depression, generalized anxiety, career/academic transitions, bereavement, eating disorders, relationship distress, sexual trauma, and family conflict.
