I currently specialize in pediatric youth who may be experiencing behavioral, emotional and mental health challenges that range from mild to acute. I completed my master's level internship in 2017 at an elementary school in Westfield providing care to children grades K-5. Following my internship, I have worked with Holyoke Pediatrics Association and Baystate Children's Speciality Center where I gained mastery in assessing social and medical needs that may correlate to presenting mental health symptoms. I often work closely with children's family members & caregivers as this is a vital component of success to therapeutic care. I am well-versed in cognitive behavioral and emotion-focused interventions to help clients learn to manage intense emotions and social situations in a healthy, skillful way. I focus on addressing the root of the problem while congruently treating associated symptoms. I bring a light-hearted, warm energy to sessions to ensure comfortability for each client.
