About
If you have experienced a significant loss or trauma, reaching out for help can be an important step towards recovery. These events often have a distinct "before" and "after," and sometimes there is no "going back to normal." We can, however, find a new "normal" - one that is peaceful and fulfilling. You may feel torn about changing unhealthy or risky ways of coping (substance use, self harm, disordered eating). My style is warm, collaborative, direct, and down to earth. I aim to see you for who you are and work with you to create the change you want. Through our deepest troubles, we can find resilience, connection, and meaning. In addition to trauma and grief recovery, I offer support to those who have family members or partners who have struggled with addiction. I also enjoy working with high school, college, and graduate students towards fulfillment and independence. This practice offers affirming care for members of the LGBTQ+ community.
