When working with neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, and young adult clients, I don't shy away from those who struggle with traditional power dynamics. I embrace clients’ need for their autonomy to be respected and honored in our sessions. I have a genuine curiosity to learn about others’ experiences, and a desire to co-create with my clients what our sessions will look and feel like. I enjoy working with both young adults and adults who are struggling to find their identity, those who have experienced trauma or attachment disruptions, and autistic clients - particularly those with PDA traits. I emphasize the importance of building trust and safety in the therapeutic relationship over time. The studio space, therapeutic relationship, and artwork provide the freedom within structure to explore the possibility of change.
