I am a licensed clinical social worker with 24 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families, children, and teens. I utilize cognitive skills(CBT), dialectical behavior skills (DBT), mindfulness practices (MCBT), and other interpersonal therapy skills to help clients develop strategies to better regulate emotions, tolerate and work through emotional distress, confront and change faulty thinking patterns, develop more functional boundaries and communication patterns to have more effective relationships, and work through loss, abuse, and other traumas by increasing their coping strategies. My specialty is in working with individuals with depression and other mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders. I help these individuals identify problematic behaviors, thinking patterns, and emotional reactions that are causing distress and other functional issues for them. I have experience working with military men/women/& families.
