As a clinical art therapist, I believe in the power of healing through an integrative, holistic approach that addresses the mind, body, and the spirit. Every person has within them the innate ability to heal and transform their lives. Often, it requires a compassionate approach with therapeutic interventions that help an individual to discover that innate wisdom within. As a trauma informed therapist, using nonverbal modalities allows for deeper levels of access to what is unconscious or unprocessed within and stored in the bodies memory from our life experiences.
