About

I earned my Master's degree in Counseling, with a specialty in Marriage and Family Therapy from San Diego State University. I have foundational training in multi-systemic and multi-cultural, family, couple and individual therapy. I practice from a strength-based, solution-focused, systems, feminist, trauma-informed and insight oriented perspective, believing therapy is an art my clients and I engage in collaboratively. I also incorporate elements of mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral therapy to help my clients meet their goals. Having 15yrs+ research and clinical experience with diverse clients, I have the knowledge, training and skill set to help you heal and achieve your goals. And I do this with compassion, humor, empathy, non-judgement and evidence-based interventions that are tailored to meet your goals and align with your unique experience.
