For the past two years I worked with individuals struggling with addiction and underlying mental health issues who were brave enough to want to try something new. It was a privilege to empower them with knowledge and tools in the recovery process. For four years before that I worked in under-resourced public schools helping children and families access therapy for (usually) the first time. There I used my creativity, flexibility, and patience to meet people wherever they were at – both psychologically and literally, in their schools, communities, and homes.
