H.E.R.O.E.S. Therapy (Helping Each Other Recognize Our Extraordinary Selves) is a supportive space where mental health meets pop culture. If you identify as a nerd, geek, introvert, outcast, or weirdo—you are not alone. Together, we’ll explore characters and stories from books, movies, games, and more to gain insight into emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Through play, conversation, and connection, we’ll face the inner villains and monsters we all carry, while building skills to better understand ourselves and grow with compassion, creativity, and courage. I specialize in working with teens, young adults, and those who are young at heart, who are struggling with depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, personal relationships, and other mental health concerns, who want to move away from self doubt, and find meaning & purpose in their lives. I use Evidence-Based Practices such as CBT, ACT, & Motivational Interviewing.
