Hi My name is Jim Maguire. I am a Board- Certified Mental Health Therapist and have a New Jersey issued license as a Professional Counselor. (LPC). As well as a New Jersey and Michigan certification as a School Psychologist. I have over 20 years of Counseling experience -working with children, adults and families. In addition to working as a School Counselor and School Psychologist, I also worked as an Alcohol and Drug therapist at a leading Mental Health Hospital in New Jersey. I know that it is not easy to recognize the need and to take the step, of asking for help. My personal and family experience is such that I fully understand the obstacles faced in seeking help from a professional. I have come to believe, that seeking help is a sign of strength not weakness. I do not strictly adhere to any one Therapeutic model.
