My patient's are typically overwhelmed, misread, or feel like they’re holding it together with snacks, sarcasm, masking, and muscle memory. They might be a kiddo, tween, teen, neurodiverse person, queer+ adult, diverse family, caregiver, or helping professional navigating grief, shutdowns, burnout, or identity shifts in a world that keeps asking for more. They’re exhausted from explaining, performing, or trying to make others comfortable. Their goal is to feel safe enough to just be, to regulate their nervous system, and to receive care that honors their body, pace, and truth; even when words are hard to find.
