About
I help LDS women in unhappy marriages get to the root of the problems, and solve those, instead of using temporary fixes for peace. They may appear to have a perfect family from the outside. Despite being kind people, committed parents, with great friends and community, their marriage is hard and unfulfilling. Women often come to me in secret, because they want a safe place to process thoughts and feelings. Sometimes they have attended couples counseling, but the sessions have been a negative experience because the spouse minimized the problems or steamrolled the session. They fear the unhappy marriage will never change. When they first come in, they feel exhausted, embarrassed, and hopeless. Nothing they do seems to be enough to make their partner happy. They have spent so much time and energy focusing on the needs of their spouse, they feel like what they want doesn’t matter. Their unhappy marriage gets in the way of the life they want to live in so many ways.
