Hello. I am so happy that you have found the courage to reach out. Let me tell you a bit about myself to help you make your decision. I will be 70 this year and will have worked as a therapist for 40 years. I have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Believe me when I say that I have a lot of life experience. My personal path just like those of all the people I have seen has not been a straight one. I feel that the most important life lesson is loving compassion for ourselves and others. For many of us the social and environmental challenges that we face make it essential that we become our own best friend and Self advocate. So how do we get to a place in which we feel deeply grounded in Self; that wise, patient, curious, and courageous core of our being that can guide and support those parts of us that we find disturbing, critical, and self sabotaging. My experience has taught me that it is through a process of listening with focus, compassion and care to these parts.
