My therapy is client focused. I see them virtually. This gives them the opportunity to receive counseling at home, office or any place they have WiFi and privacy. I ask them to share why they came for counseling and listen intently in the attempt to understand their problems and why they are seeking help. Are they court ordered or did they come on their own. Then I conduct the assessment they need or a short assessment to identify their problem and focus on their issues. I assess the need for medication and recommend them if needed. My PhD is in Counseling Psychology.
