About
Psychotherapy is simultaneously one of the most difficult and most rewarding things you can do. Honestly confronting the patterns of thinking, feeling, and behavior that maintain the life you have and understanding the roots of your values, beliefs, and desires can be hard work, but it is also the best way to break old habits and start to live a life you want to live. People often report repeating behaviors that feel natural to them but that result in the same painful outcomes: dating the same type of partner, getting into the same arguments, feeling the same anxiety or ambient-sadness. I work with patients to understand and decalcify these patterns as well as the deep systems of meaning that sustain them. This dual concentration helps us to both cultivate a sense of self that aligns more intentionally with who you want to be and make sure that tomorrow feels better than today.
