As a psychotherapist, I specialize in helping individuals who have not found the assistance they need from other professionals. My focus is on understanding the causes of suffering, not merely symptoms or a diagnosis. Valuing the complexity of the mind, I work carefully with each patient to tailor a treatment approach to their specific and unique needs. I do not simply assume what you need; we collaborate together. Psychotherapy can be profoundly meaningful, and I have experience helping people from a wide variety of backgrounds. I also use Neurofeedback therapy and QEEG (brain mapping) assessments to inform my clinical practice. In addition to my clinical work, I engage with government officials and published a paper in the Journal of Psychological Thought to advocate for practical public policy. These efforts typically focus on identifying overly burdensome regulations that impact issues related to counseling licensure and increasing access to mental health services.
