I received my Master’s degree in social work at Wayne State University in 2021. I am currently a limited licensed social worker, LLMSW. I have experience working with children in an inpatient and outpatient setting. While earning my degree, I interned at Detroit Behavioral institute/Capstone Academy and MORC. I utilize techniques based in motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy to support clients with depression, and anxiety. My approach to therapy is to empower individuals to discover their own strengths and work towards healing and living a fulfilling life. I believe that building an open and trusting relationship with a client is the key to a positive therapeutic experience. I am dedicated to the wellness of each individual and strives to provide a safe environment for clients
