Accepting new clients. My ideal client wants to explore their heart and mind to bring insight and healing into their lives and their relationships. We all have struggles we carry with us: painful experiences, the feelings of being unlovable or unworthy, sadness, fear, shame. We might feel the weight of trauma in our bodies and spirits. We might feel depressed, anxious. We might wonder what we can do, we might not know where to start – we just know that we need a new direction. We can learn tools to help us express compassion to ourselves to untangle and untie the knots in our minds and hearts, and how to live more authentically. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy builds up our abilities to be open to our experiences, to be aware of the here-and-now, and to live out what matters most to us.
