About
You survived a sudden medical crisis but now you're trapped in a different nightmare. Constant fear about your body. Panic at every sensation. Nightmares about dying. Hyper-vigilance that exhausts you. Your doctors treated the emergency, but psychological trauma remains unaddressed. You're dealing with medical PTSD, health anxiety, fear of recurrence, difficulty returning to activities, and grief for who you were. Friends say "just be grateful you survived" but you can't shake the terror or feel safe. You want to process what happened, reduce fear, and find meaning beyond survival. I specialize in the post-traumatic growth that is possible following medical trauma or other life-threatening events. I offer Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based interventions. As both a psychologist and cardiac arrest survivor, I bring lived experience alongside clinical expertise to guide your healing journey.
