Hello; I'm Joseph. I've been in the mental health field most of my life. I started working at Kings Park Psych center in the late eighties as a therapy aid when I was 18. Through the years I have developed an approach to therapy that includes empathy and the promotion of self-determination. Paradigms are build when we are very young and sometimes people need help building new ones; that serve them; and help promote the life they want to live on all levels. My approach is a mix of psychotherapy and life coaching. I do have exp. with all types of people.. and all races; creeds and sexual orientation.
