About
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Addiction Specialist with over 25 years of experience in the field. Through a cognitive behavioral treatment approach I provide my patients with a safe, trusting and comfortable environment that allows them the space to reflect, process and strategize ways to enhance their lives to live to their fullest potential. I currently serve on the faculty of the NYU Graduate School of Social Work as a adjunct-assistant professor and advisor. I also provide clinical supervision to those clinicians seeking NYS/NJ licensure. I also work very closely with the NYC/NJ based judicial systems. I specialize in addiction and mental health, helping clients overcome resistance to change and break free from substance dependence. With 25+ years of experience, I provide evidence-based therapy tailored to address cravings, triggers, and relapse prevention. Currently serve as the director of the NYU Post- Masters in Addiction certificate program.
