He has worked with adults of all ages. He completed his graduate internship at The Wellness Center in LaGuardia Community College. Joseph continued to work in LaGuardia as a college counselor, while also working at the school’s Neurodiversity Program, which services students with high functioning autism, ADHD, and social anxiety. As a counselor Joseph employs an integrated approach, combining solution focused and cognitive behavioral interventions with psychodynamic approaches. Joseph believes a strong relationship between the therapist and client is essential for creating a comfortable and effective environment for therapy.
