My mentor said to me: “we get there together.” This means that we need one another to go the distance. Grief, anxiety, trauma, depression, relational conflicts or any number of other challenges can lead to feeling disconnected, distressed, or ashamed. I aim to provide an empathetic presence to provide support, healthy reflection, and hope as we find healthy change to pursue. Counseling can be proactive too (before our crisis).
