I am a Licensed Professional Counselor trained in treating addictions, trauma, depression, anxiety and bereavement. I earned my Bachelor of Education Degree in my early adulthood. After teaching for several years, I earned a Master's Degree in counseling and have been in the counseling field since 1996; working extensively with addiction issues and trauma. My goal is to help promote wellness in clients, helping them connect their emotional, mindful and "soul" selves in a compassionate and challenging manner to promote growth. Also, I utilize Somatic Experiencing Techniques and Mindfulness techniques. In addition, I am a certified Complicated Pain Recovery Coach. I offer both individual and couples sessions.
