I believe the patient/therapist alliance in a therapeutic setting can be a key for human growth and development. I hope to create a safe place where emotions and past and present experiences can be shared freely without judgement. Beginning psychotherapy can be a scary thing and opening up to another person can feel overwhelming, yet I am committed to make the process less scary for you and more manageable over time. I earned my master's degree from the University of Michigan in 1998, and I have a wide range of experience including in Psychiatric Emergency, Inpatient Units, Corrections, Community Mental Health and Private Practice.
