At Balm of Gilead Christian Counseling Center, LLC, therapy is approached from a systems perspective. i.e. every facet of life is considered in goal-setting. My clients are therefore able to work towards well-rounded solutions. I work with clients in a variety of formats, including individually, as couples and as families. I have training and experience in systemic approaches to therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Story-Informed Trauma Therapy (Byron Kehler’s Guiding Survivors of Childhood Trauma through Recovery Model), and using Prepare-Enrich (for couples). Depending on what model I am using in session, I may act as a coach, teacher, facilitator, directive expert, or collaborator.
