I strongly believe in the power of self-compassion, self-love, and giving oneself grace. In my therapeutic space, I stress the benefits of taking active steps to learn how to treat yourself with the kindness and love that you deserve from yourself and others. One of the best intervention tool can be self-compassion and positive regard for oneself. I very much understand that developing this part of oneself can be difficult, as we live in a society that greatly profits from our dislike of ourselves. Despite this challenge, I strongly believe that we all have the capacity to overcome this and develop this skill set.
