I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked in the Mental Health Field for over 20 years. I specialize in treating children, adolescents and families who have experienced trauma. I use an integrated, trauma informed approach combining the power of play therapy with the evidenced based process of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am certified in Synergetic Play therapy, a researched informed model blending therapeutic play with principles from neuroscience, attachment theory and interpersonal neurobiology to promote healing and nervous system regulation. I am certified in Synergetic Play TherapyTM a researched-informed model of play therapy blending the therapeutic power of play with nervous system regulation, interpersonal neurobiology, attachment, mindfulness, and therapist authenticity. I'm EMDR Certified and incorporate IFS and other somatic tools for optimal healing for both children and adults.
