Hello and welcome! My name is Julia Walker and I am an LPC at Project Ember Initiative honored to work with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. I enjoy working with those who are struggling with self-confidence issues, identity exploration, interpersonal conflict, and symptoms of trauma. I have experience working with survivors of sexual assault and have found this to be a passion area of mine, as well. I primarily work from a client-centered, trauma-informed, and emotion-focused approach that can be adapted to meet your specific needs. I also offer EMDR therapy for those who would like to process trauma from a different lens. When working with children and adolescents, I find it best to utilize experiential activities that include therapeutic play and art.
