Congratulations for having the courage to search for help navigating your emotional life. I am a licensed clinical social worker who works with a variety of clients dealing with emotional and relational challenges. Some are dealing with anxiety and depression that they don't completely understand. Others are having relationship problems with a significant other or family members. Many of the clients I work with have addiction issues which serve to temporarily cover up the pain or emptiness they are feeling. Talking to someone can help you get perspective and feel empowered to deal with overwhelming problems and emotions.
