Hey you! I'm Julianinah, a licensed clinical social worker in DC and MD. My clients are typically BIPOC and woman-identifying people who are new to therapy but excited to start. They look for someone with strong listening skills who empathizes with their life experiences and gives gentle nudges towards their goals. They want a safe space to care for themselves. Doing the work means dedicating time to understanding emotional patterns and exploring specific stress management tools that can spark change. My style is warm, eclectic, and collaborative—I’m here to work with you, not talk at you. My goal is to create relatable and empowering treatment through a range of approaches including person-centered, behavioral, and solution-focused. And, I like to share psycho-educational tools along the way.
