About
I retired after a lengthy career as attorney and judge in 2021. My next step toward a meaningful life was to obtain a Masters in Counseling degree from Spring Arbor University. I have seen the marked effect counseling can have in improving lives. A counselor is a valuable partner in exploring life's struggles, values, and goals. I use techniques appropriate to each individual client including cognitive behavioral therapy, ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), mindfulness and EMDR. I believe that we honor others through deep listening with compassion and without judgment.
