I enjoy working with people of all ages facing challenges due to present circumstances or past experiences. I specialize in helping people struggling with depression, anxiety and those who have experienced trauma. Sometimes we repeat behaviors in our life that have negative outcomes and struggle to know how to change. I want to learn about you and build safety and trust in our relationship so you can achieve the goals you have for yourself. It may involve learning and practicing new skills or reprocessing things that have occurred. I believe everyone deserves to have a life worth living. I earned my Master of Social Work from Michigan State University. I am a certified EMDR therapist and a member of EMDRIA. I also have certification in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy. I have been trained in full model dialectical behavioral therapy and often use cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based therapy in my practice.
